Deepti BNhadravathi
Deepti Bhadravati Hailing from South Kannada Maravante. Born in a small village called Nakkarike in Chikkamangaluru, her name is only Deepti but she writes poetry under the name Deepti Bhadravati because of her inseparable relationship with Bhadravati and the contribution of Bhadravati in her life from childhood to youth.
Deepti holds a Diploma in Journalism, a Master’s Degree in Kannada from Kuvempu University and a Master’s Degree in Hindi. Being an undergraduate student of science, the attraction of the field of literature enabled him to pursue different degrees. He is currently in government employment and serving in the health department.
His works-Paper Horse, Green Roomy. Story Collection- That Side Flower. Deepti’s work ‘Aa Badiya Phuva’ has been awarded this year’s Masti Katha Award. Karnataka Writers Association Bangalore Kodamaduva Geeta Desai Endowment Fund Award, Mumbai Sushila Shetty Memorial Award, Rajya Kannada Sahitya Parishad Bangalore Sharada V Rao Endowment Fund Award, Dharwad Harapanahalli Bhimavva Award, Mandya BM Sri Kavya Award, this year Masti Katha Award His mudigeri.
He has also won Sankraman Literary Award, Sanchaya Poetry Competition Prize, Chetanadhara Trust Poetry Prize, Gurusiddha Basavashree Prize, various newspaper story competitions. His second collection of stories “Geeru” is written by Dr. Succeeded in winning the Patil Puttappa Award.
