Ramachandrapura Matha
Ramachandrapur Mutt is a Hindu Mutt located in Hosnagar Taluk, Shimoga, Karnataka. It is 380 km from Bangalore and 80 km from Shimoga. The Math is mainly followed by Brahmins from Uttara Kannada, Dakshina Kannada, Udupi, Shimoga districts of Karnataka and Kasaragod districts of Kerala.
It was originally founded by Adi Shankaracharya near Gokarna on the west coast of India. This Math was initially known as Raghuttama Math. Swami Brahmachari of the Math adds the title Bharati to his name. The current Guru is Jagadguru Shankaracharya Sri Raghaveshwar Bharati Mahaswamiji.
Sri Raghavendra Bharati Mahaswamiji was ordained by Jagadguru Shankaracharya, the 35th abbot of Sri Ramachandrapur Math.
Gosvarga is an initiative under the management of Kamadugha Trust, Sri Ramachandrapur Math on 27th May 2018 to protect and develop indigenous cows in their natural environment. A place of natural beauty nestled amidst the verdant peaks of the Sahyadri mountains. Located in Bhankuli near Siddapur town in Uttara Kannada district of Karnataka. The mission of the Math is to achieve this vision through four themes: Protection, Conservation, Awareness and Research.
Kamadugha is the holistic mission of Sri Ramachandrapur Math to popularize the benefits of protecting and conserving the desi cow to mankind through historical evidence and research based results.
Vishnugupta Vishwavidyapeetham (VVV) is an initiative of Sri Sri Raghaveshvarabharati Mahaswamiji, which aims to preserve and promote the glorious traditions of India for future generations. Here students are taught a blend of modern education and traditional education, trying to inculcate in them knowledge of Indian traditional arts and languages and practices of Sanatan Dharma. Vishnugupta The main motivation behind the establishment of Vishwa Vidyapeeth was to recover the lost Takshashila in the country. Hence, the university is named after the great Guru Chanakya of Taxila.
