Shettihalli Wildlife Sanctuary

Shettihalli Wildlife Sanctuary is about 31 kilometers from Vushivamogga. The sanctuary is located in the Shimoga district of Karnataka and is home to many species of mammals, reptiles and birds. The best time to visit this sanctuary is from July to October, a beautiful place with diverse flora and fauna.

The sanctuary is divided into three zones namely core zone, buffer zone and tourism zone. Shimoga International Airport is the nearest airport and Shimoga Railway Station is the nearest railway line to Shettihalli Wildlife Sanctuary.
